Accounts Assistant needed
The African Youth Initiative Network (AYINET) is a non-Governmental organization based in Lira, Northern Uganda. Since establishment in 2005, AYINET as among others provided physical and psychosocial support to tens of thousands to victims of war.
AYINET operates in greater northern Uganda with the aims of empowering war victims and post-conflict communities to participate in meaningful transitional justice processes in Uganda.
AYINET is recruiting a graduate for the positions of:
Reports to:the Accountant
Tasks and Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following duties among others
Assist in managing the finances in accordance with the budget, DGF financial policies and guidelines, and also considering AYINETs’ internal financial policies.
Assist in Preparing and submission of quarterly financial report for this particular project in time.
Assist in making accountabilities for the project activities conducted and making sure that it is up to date.
You will be reporting directly to your supervisor who is the accountant and also liaise with the Coordinator for Medical and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Project for activity schedules.
Providing support to the Accounting Department.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, or related field.
